In my head it is warm

Over the Christmas holiday, we headed down to our favorite spot in the Bahamas. Even though, the weather wasn't as warm as it normally is at this time of year, we still put our bathing suits on! We all loved the slides, the rapid river (minus Beckett), the warm water, shuffleboard, hot tubs,eating lots of good food at all of our favorite spots, spending time with aunts, uncles, and cousins, getting lots of love from goggie and papa, building a "build-a-bear" animal on the rainy day, walking around on adventures with Daddy (pretending to be a pirate!), taking long naps, and the last day--we got some warm sun and warm air!! Chad and I had an amazing date at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. The best food I've ever eaten! Our family even headed over to my close friend from college's house, to see her newly built home and spend time with her family. It was an amazing vacation. Thank you to my parents for always making it such a highlight of our year! So, now that it is sticking in the high twenties around here, I can still pretend in my head that it is still warm, when I look at these pictures! They comfort me a bit, at least until spring hits!
